Tres Semanas Despues
Tres Semanas Despues
Acrylic and oil on masonite
2018
$1688

I started this artwork between November or December of 2017 and left it as an unfinished homework for an anatomy class. It talks about the moment where I found myself three weeks after the devastating Hurricane María, sitting in my bed lighted by an electric lantern. Full of uncertainty, wondering what will happen in the coming months.
After a year since the Hurricane passed, I decided to finish the painting mainly as an act of resilience towards everything that had happened since that moment.

This artwork has been exhibited in multiple collective art exhibits and featured in local art magazines.
